    Email Best Practices

    • Keep subject lines under 50 characters for mobile visibility
    • Always personalize with at least the customer's name
    • Include clear call-to-action (Schedule Test Drive, View Vehicle, etc.)
    • Use conversational, friendly tone - avoid overly formal language
    • Add images of the vehicle they inquired about
    • Mobile-optimize - 60% of emails are opened on phones
    • Test emails before sending to large groups
    • Track open rates to optimize timing (best: 10 AM weekdays)

    Popular Email Sequences

    New Lead Nurture

    Immediate: Welcome email → Wait 24 hours → Follow-up email → Wait 3 days → Check-in email

    Price Drop Alert

Immediate: Price reduced notification → Wait 2 days → Reminder if no response

    Post Test Drive

Same day: Thank you email → Wait 1 day → Follow-up with offer → Wait 3 days → Final check-in

    Re-engagement

Day 1: "We miss you" email → Wait 1 week → Special offer → Wait 2 weeks → Last chance

    🎯

    Pro Tip

A/B test your subject lines! Send the same email with two different subject lines to small groups, then use the winner for the rest. Studies show this can increase open rates by 20-30%. Try emotional vs. logical appeals, questions vs. statements, or urgency vs. curiosity.
