    Troubleshooting Common Issues

    Problem: Authentication Failed

    Solutions:

    • Check username is your full email address
    • Verify password is correct (try copying/pasting)
    • For Gmail: Use App Password, not regular password
    • Enable 'Less secure apps' if required by provider

    Problem: Emails Going to Spam

    Solutions:

    • Use your own domain email, not Gmail/Yahoo
    • Add SPF and DKIM records to your domain DNS
    • Avoid spam trigger words in subject lines
    • Include physical address in email footer

    Problem: Connection Timeout

    Solutions:

    • Check port number is correct (587 for TLS, 465 for SSL)
    • Try different port if one doesn't work
    • Check if firewall is blocking SMTP
    • Contact hosting provider to enable SMTP

    Problem: Emails Not Sending

    Solutions:

    • Verify SMTP is enabled in your email account
    • Check daily sending limits (Gmail: 500/day)
    • Ensure email account has enough storage
    • Review error logs in Settings → Email Logs

    Improve Email Deliverability

Add SPF and DKIM records to your domain DNS to prevent emails going to spam:

    SPF Record

Add this TXT record to your domain DNS:

    v=spf1 include:_spf.autohub4u.com ~all

    DKIM Record

We'll provide DKIM records after email verification. Contact support for details.
